Bemerton Methodist Church has a membership of about 60 people who meet for Christian worship on Sundays and for fellowship together during the week. We have a weekly program of activities both religious and social.

We are a part of the Methodist Church of Great Britain, and as such share common beliefs and values whith many other "non-conformist" churches.

The roots of Methodism can be traced back to John Wesley in the 18th century. John Wesley visited and preached in Salisbury.
